Last call for Steak Cooks!
Calling all you backyard steak chefs! We still have open spots for our SCA Steak Cook off planned for Friday afternoon, 28 June. This is a fun competition where we provide each cook two Prime boneless Ribeye steaks to cook for the competition. Turn in your best steak for judging and eat the other! What’s better is you have a chance to win a trophy, part of $2400 in prizes and a chance to compete in the SCA World Championship in Fort Worth, TX.

Festival Time is Almost Here!
Hello everyone! It’s June and that means we are only a few weeks away from this year’s York County BBQ Festival. The Organizers are stil busy with our last-minute preparations, but we are all excited for this year’s event. We have a full list of bands ready to entertain us on Friday and Saturday. We have a great group of Food, Business, Arts & Craft and Non-Profits lined up as vendors. The Adult and children’s games are returning again this year. with some new additions. And of course the BBQ competitions are returning this year with SCA Steak, Appetizer and Kid’s Que competitions on Friday, KCBS Backyard and Masters competitions, our Captain O’ the Sauce and People’s Choice Pork competitions on Saturday. And new this year, we are holding KCBS Backyard and Masters competitions on Sunday as well, making this a KCBS Double event. Twice the fun and twice the opportunity to earn that Golden ticket to the KCBS National competition!
There are still some spots available for Vendors and BBQ teams. If you would like to join us this year, please submit your registration by following the links on our web site.

The York County BBQ Festival is being held on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29, 2024 in Delta, Pennsylvania.
This annual community event, now in its Ninth year, benefits local businesses and organizations while drawing in visitors from all over the Mid-Atlantic Region with Kansas City Barbeque Society and Steak Cookoff Association sanctioned competitions, a Festival with a variety of arts & crafts, business, and food vendors from the region, live music and entertainment, designated children’s activities, a beer garden, and more! Our primary goal for this event is to promote tourism in Southern York County, Pennsylvania and encourage community involvement and development efforts.
Come to the Festival!
One of the most popular events in our town is the annual BBQ festival, where people can enjoy a variety of food, music and local businesses. The festival is held at the Community Center Grounds, where dozens of stalls offer delicious treats, snacks, sandwiches, BBQ and more.
There is also a stage where local bands and singers perform live music throughout the day, ranging from rock to jazz to folk.
We’ll be having a Beer and Wine Garden! Grab your drink tokens the day of (with valid ID) and enjoy the beautiful weekend in our garden with a domestic or craft beer, seltzer, cider, or wine in hand. Beverages will be available for $5 a drink. We’ll also have a designated seating area for those hanging out in the garden!
The festival is a great opportunity to support local businesses, as many of them showcase their products and services at the event. You can find handmade crafts, books, clothes and other items that reflect the creativity and diversity of our community.
The festival is a fun and family-friendly event that attracts thousands of visitors every year. It is a celebration of our town’s culture and spirit.
